Primary at LPSS.
Our Primary School caters for children from Year 1- Year 6 (Ages 5+ to 11+). We promote the use of a range of exciting themes that bring alive the English National Curriculum. These themes enable all children to learn through positive experiences and hands-on activities. The children become more skilled at making their own choices in learning, and we encourage them to further identify their strengths and areas for development.Our primary classes are divided into Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2), Lower Key stage 2 (year 3-4) and Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5-6). We ensure a smooth transition between all key stages for all children so that they are ready for the change in timetable and curriculum. -

Throughout the primary school, the following subjects are studied:

- Literacy and Numeracy lessons are taught daily ensuring that all lessons are tailored to suit the needs of individuals by differentiated, enjoyable and engaging challenge and we have a dynamic curriculum which has cross curricular links with all of the subjects.
Unique to us at LPSS, all subjects are taught by specialist teachers to ensure high levle delivery across board. The c In Lower Key Stage 2 all children are also given the chance to learn a musical instrument and perform a concert to the parents.
During the school day the children in primary are provided with a range of practical and first hand experiences. Whilst engaging in creative and challenging activities and lessons, the children are provided with the opportunity to work within groups, pairs or to learn musical instruments and perform a concert to the parents.
